Forty range codes share one listing: electronic board or software error. Cool down, reset, then call if it returns.
Model compatibility: Fisher & Paykel reuses codes across series and model years, so F101 / F102 / F103 / F104 … may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
Plain language
What this code means
The manufacturer lists forty F, A, E and Er codes on freestanding cookers as an electronic board or software error with a cool-down power reset.
All forty codes
One entry in the Fisher & Paykel guide for freestanding ranges is behind forty different displays: electronic board or software error. Find your code below.
Let the cooling fans stop and the oven cool right down.
Switch off at the power supply, give it 30 seconds, and switch on.
Book a service repair if the code comes back.
The order, and why
Switching the supply off is normally discouraged on the support page’s first lines, since a still-hot oven, and the cabinets beside it, may be harmed when power drops. For this reset the manufacturer makes an exception, on the condition that the oven has cooled.
Limits of the list
No cause is attached to any code, and no models are listed. Several numbers turn up with different labels in the combi oven table, such as F226, while F215 and F216 sit among its sensor errors; for an unusual number, the related pages are worth a look.
Important safety warning. Do not attempt repairs involving electrical components, gas, water lines, refrigerant or sealed systems. Unplug the appliance if it is safe to reach the outlet, and leave internal diagnostics to a qualified technician.
