A3 means the oven door stayed locked after Self Clean on a wall oven.
Model compatibility: Fisher & Paykel reuses codes across series and model years, so A3 may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
Plain language
What this code means
Door lock error: the door cannot be unlocked after a Self Clean cycle has finished.
What is happening
Self Clean is over, yet the door will not open and the display says A3. Fisher & Paykel files this under door lock errors, specifically the unlocking kind: the cycle has ended and the door will not come free.
Steps to try, in order
Cycle the oven’s power: off, then on.
Reset the clock.
Push on the door and see whether it releases.
If it holds fast, a service technician is required, says the help page for wall ovens OB60C, OB60SL and OB76V3.
Handle the door with care
The cavity is extremely hot after cleaning and remains a hazard for a time. Prying at the door, poking tools around the latch or forcing it with a knife are all out. Be patient while the oven cools down, and rely on the reset.

A3
Cleaning has finished; door will not unlock
Cycle power, clear and reset the clock, press on the door
A1 is worth a glance too: the oven is overheated, and its code vanishes after the door unlocks.
